ATEX / Intrinsically Safe Load Cells

This section illustrates all of the load cell from our range that are available with ATEX certification.  These intrinsically safe load cells are suitable for use in hazardous areas where the introduction of potential ignition sources in not acceptable.

All load cells can be supplied with suitable Zener Barriers which safely limit the amount of electrical energy allowed to pass from the safe area to the hazardous area.  They are required if you wish to connect the load cells to any electronic device outside of the hazardous area.

All models can be supplied with analogue or digital instrumentation including amplifiers and signal conditioners, signal digitisers, displays and indicators.

Calibration traceable to UKAS standards is available on all load cells and systems.
