Column Load Cells | Canister Load Cells

This section illustrates our range of column load cells and force sensors, also known as canister load cells.

The column load cell design lends itself to higher capacity applications with standard compression ranges from 0-1 tonne to 0-1000 tonnes available and custom ranges to 3000 tonnes. 

High capacity tension or tension & compression measurement applications are also catered for by the DBCL column load cell which offers standard capacities from 0-1 tonne up to 0-100 tonnes, and custom types with capacities of 0-1500 tonnes or more.

All three column load cell designs can be provided with increased environmental protection of IP68 for submersion in potable water or seawater to depths of 5000 metres or more if required.

All column load cell models can be supplied with analogue or digital instrumentation including amplifiers/signal conditioners, digitizers, displays and indicators to form a complete system.

Calibration traceable to UKAS standards is available on all column load cells and systems.
