High Speed Torque Sensors (>5000rpm)

This section illustrates our range of high speed rotary torque sensors capable of operating at speeds in excess of 5000rpm.

For these high speed torque sensor applications mechanical connection is made by keyed parallel shaft to maximum integrity and stability.  Alternative connection methods such as flanges are available through couplings.

In addition to their high speed capability, the slip ring torque transducer models are suited to short term, low duty cycle operations, while the brushless torque transducers offer long term operation at high speed.

The standard outputs on our high speed torque sensors are mV/V on slip ring types and ±5Vdc on brushless types.

All high speed torque sensors can be supplied with analogue or digital instrumentation including amplifiers and signal conditioners, signal digitisers, displays and indicators and wireless radio telemetry equipment.  Calibration traceable to UKAS standards is available on all torque transducers and systems.
