Slip Ring Torque Sensors (Rotary)

This section illustrates our range of rotary torque sensors that utilise slip ring technology for the transfer of signal and power in applications where there are multiple revolutions or constant rotation.

Rotational speeds up to 8000rpm are achievable on the lower ranges with 3000-4000rpm available on most slip ring torque sensor models.  For higher rotational speeds please see our brushless rotary torque transducers.

Our range of slip ring torque sensors covers capacities from 0-0.2Nm to 0-80kNm as standard.  For higher capacity rotary applications please contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.

Mechanical configurations available on our slip ring torque sensors include square drive, keyed parallel shaft, flange-to-flange and flange to square drive.

All slip ring otrque sensor models can be supplied with analogue or digital instrumentation including amplifiers and signal conditioners, signal digitisers, displays and indicators and wireless radio telemetry equipment.  Calibration traceable to UKAS standards is available on all slip ring torque sensors and systems.
